The Nutcracker is my favorite ballet. I've seen it several times since I was 11. I love the magical feeling I get watching the dancers dance through the snow and listening to the beautiful music of Tchaikovsky. I'm excited to be able to share my love of the Nutcracker with my daughter. This DVD provides the story of the Nutcracker in a fun way to spark the imagination of your child and bring out the little child in us all. I watched this DVD with my 22 month old daughter. She enjoyed watching the dancers and twirled along with them. I know we will enjoy PrimaPrincessa presents The Nutcracker for many years to come.

I recently had the pleasure of reviewing the 2 current books available by the Daddy's Heroes, authors, Tom Garcia & Karun Naga.
Mr. Garcia started writing the Daddy's Heroes books after he wanted to tell his son a bedtime story. However, the large pile of children's books were always lacking something. Mr. Garcia wanted to tell his son a story full of excitement. He then proceeded to tell his son the story of the 1980 Philadelphia Phillies Championship win. This bedtime story was the beginning of Daddy's Heroes.
Daddy's Heroes books give a factual account of sports, while also making it easy and fun for children to understand. I enjoyed listening to my husband read The ’86 Mets,
Buckner & The Bambino to my two boys, ages 6 and 2. Each of the boys enjoyed listening to the books, my 6 year old asked questions about the game and "the characters" in the book, while my 2 year old enjoyed the bright and vivid illustrations of "baseball". My husband enjoyed reading one of The Mets' best games, as he was very into the Mets and baseball in 1986. All 3 of my "boys" connected with the book. It is a wonderful thing when children and adults can enjoy a baseball event that can span the generations.

The weather is starting to change and I'm looking forward to the yummy possibilities that fall has to offer. This is a simple recipe based on a 30 minute meal of Rachael Ray's. I've got some Italian in my blood, so anything with a red sauce and pasta is comforting!
Easy Crock Pot Chicken Cacciatore
Ingredients
1lb boneless, skinless chicken (breasts, thighs or a combo)
1 pkg cremini mushrooms, quartered
4 cloves garlic, minced
1/2C beef broth or stock
28oz can crushed tomatoes
1/2tsp crushed red pepper flakes
salt and pepper to taste
Directions
Mix all ingredients in the crock pot and cook on low for 6-8 hours. Serve with your favorite pasta and top with grated parmesan.
Simple, easy and delicious!! Enjoy!

Bleu Soleil Design is a sweet design shop full of invitation and paper goodies. I had a lovely time perusing the many unique designs. Jackie Donahue, is the graphic designer behind Bleu Soleil. Jackie has combined her love for Paris with her design to create charming note cards and invitations.
Jackie created a note card set for her product review with Mammalicious Finds. As you can see from the images, the packaging is exquisite. The note cards were nestled inside of a cellophane envelope for safe travels and tied with a pink bow. Once outside of the envelope the cards were gathered together by a printed kraft paper scalloped label.
I sent Jackie our Mammalicious Finds logo via email and she created a custom set. The background is printed with pink/black stripes and embellished with the logo. The logo has a touch of glitter added to the stroller for a bit of pop. The envelopes also had the logo printed in the corner. I have to admit I was a little giddy when I opened the card set.
