Pay-Pal - ironically I get a lot of questions about
Pay-Pal and how to set up payment options on a blog. This is a question I have gotten repeatedly so I thought it fitting to do a tutorial on the subject.
One way to
Set up payment options on a blog is through Pay Pal. It is easy to do and easy to use. So I am going to walk you through the steps of how to do this.
1. If you don’t already have a pay-pal account
sign up. When asked what type of account you would like choose a Business Account. This will give you access to all of the buttons to put on your web page.

2. Choose what type of account you would like. If you are setting up a business blog I would recommend Website Payments Standard. It is free and will give you all the flexibility you need to start off.

Side Note - To help you make the correct decision for your individual circumstance I have also listed some of the other Pay Pal plans.

The rest of this tutorial is going to assume that you have chose Website Payments Standard. Once you have completed setting up your Pay Pal account it is time to put some buttons on your blog.
3. When logged into your account choose Merchant Services.

4. You now have access to all your tools for Pay Pal merchants. It is up to you to decide what type of button you would like on your blog. Lets create an “add to cart” button for practice. Click on Add to Cart.

5. Fill out the desired information and click “create a button.”

6. After your button is completed you will be given a code. Copy the ENTIRE code and place it within your post. Be careful after you have placed your code not to change anything within the code or it will break.

That concludes this months tutorial. If you found this tutorial helpful please leave a comment. If there is something specific you would like to see a tutorial written on please feel free to e-mail me MyLife.Xpressed@gmail.com and I will see what I can do. :- )
