We had the opportunity to review four 8x10 "Ready to Frame" original art prints from the Construction Series and one 8x10 personalized "Ready to Frame" original art print in an 11x14 bevel-cut mat, featuring "The Firetruck". My son was SOOO excited when I opened the package. It's all about trucks and cars right now for my two year old, I'm sure some of the moms out there can relate. He was very anxious to get a looksie at all the pictures. He kept saying, "my truck my truck."
What first catches your eye is the vivid color of the prints. Bright and bold, perfect for catching that little ones attention. I love baking. This time of year, I'm usually busy baking some kind of holiday treats. I love trying to get my almost 3 year old to help. His favorite part is stirring and sampling the goodies when they are finished.
When I learned about Zebra Mix baking kits for kids, I thought it was a neat idea. Who wouldn't like a fun way to get kids involved in the baking process? I received the Zebra Cupcake and Frosting Kit to try out with my son. Upon opening the box, I discovered not only easy to follow
directions but a full color baking map that explains everything in a way that's easy for kids to follow. There are two sets of directions, one for younger children (ages 4-9) and one for older children (ages 9+). Even non-readers will be able to follow the step-by-step picture directions. My son really enjoyed looking at the colorful pictures in the directions. He helped me add ingredients and stir the cupcake mixture. While we were waiting for the cupcakes to bake, Dylan had fun coloring and doing the other activities on the baking map.
When the cupcakes were finished, Dylan did not want to wait for them to cool! I had to distract him with helping me make the frosting. Once the cupcakes were frosted, Dylan enjoyed his cupcake. They turned out great and tasted fantastic. We had a great time doing something fun together.

The pacifier clips were made with a very stylish polka dot/striped ribbon and they had my son's name spelled in two different fonts. The ribbons, stitching, and snap closures are very durable. I was able to tug pretty hard on the snap without any fear of the snap tearing and pulling through the ribbon. A "Magaby's" label finishes off the backside of the ribbon. The paci clips retail for $8.99.
The diaper cover was made with a minky fabric (soft and luxurious) and embroidered in pink. There are many other styles to choose from on the site. Our "tester" was very happy to show off her sweet little cover. Size 12 months, and it fit perfect. The cover was very well made and is sure to last a long time! I love doing art projects with my kids. I love finding new projects for my almost 3 year old son Dylan and I to do together. Eye Can Art is fabulous product that will get your creative juices flowing.
Eye Can Art provides everything you need to create a fun, unique project. Each kit comes with all the materials needed for the project and each kit can be used to make multiple projects. Eye Can Art exposes children to "art concepts such as line, shape, and value."
I received the Book in a Box kit. I was very impressed by the quality of the materials contained in the kit. The kit contained 3 boxes, white paper, black marker, idea sheet, full sized color pencil set, glue stick, safety scissors, die-cut, house shaped paper, and instructions all housed in a reusable cylinder container. .
The instructions are very open-ended. They provide the basic outline and then the child is free to interpret the project however he or she sees fit.
The recommended ages for this kit is 5- 95. Although my son is not quite 3, he thoroughly enjoyed creating his book. We created a book about things that he likes. We talked about his favorite food, toy, animal, and things that make him smile. He eagerly helped me draw the pictures to go with his story. It was fun to interact with him and let him be creative. I helped him label his pictures and I did a couple of the drawings myself. 
This kit is fantastic! I love the way it is set up to give the child the creative avenue to experiment with the media and use his or her imagination to create the finished product. I would highly recommend this kit to anyone who wants to add a little art to a child's life.

When I opened our Polliwalks box, my son grabbed the shoes saying "puppy puppy". He loved the puppy furry clogs. Who wouldn't love wearing a pair of puppies on their feet? I helped my son put them on and he walked around in them, testing them out, he was able to take them off on his own, which is a plus.
