My almost 3 year old is obsessed with electronics and gadgets. Anything with buttons and sounds is the perfect thing for him to play with. Poingo fills his need for electronic interaction while enriching his play with stories, songs, games, and so much more. Poingo is an interactive story reader that uses a pen to interact with the pages in the books.
I was excited to receive my Poingo starter kit. The starter kit includes the Poingo pen and two hardcover story books. The story books include Disney's Cars and Finding Nemo, both favorites in our house. My son Dylan was so excited to look through the books. When I showed him how to use the Poingo pen to interact with the book, he was hooked. He enjoyed playing with the books for over 2 hours the first time. I was shocked at how well these books captured his attention!
Each book not only reads the story but has multiple interactions on each page. Almost every picture that is touched with the Poingo pen will play a song, make a sound, state a fact, or play a game. "Poingo lets kids unlock hidden treasures on every page, triggering exciting elements of discovery, exploration and surprise." These books are much more than just a story reader. They are an effective learning tool that captures the attention of the child. They incorporate some science, geography, music, listening and so much more. For example, in the Cars book, there is a map of the United States. When you touch the Poingo pen to a location, it will tell you the state you pointed to. This is just one of the many things that Poingo aims to teach using this interactive story reader. "Everything about Poingo creates a stimulating, interactive experience that is bound to get kids excited about reading."
The best part about Poingo is that it is affordable compared to other similar products on the market. The starter kit retails for $34.99 and the additional books are $9.99. Poingo is recommended for ages 3 to 7. Another great feature about Poingo is you can register your pen online and download other interactive songs and book titles. Simply connect your Poingo pen to the computer using a USB cord, which is included. Poingo is available for purchase at Target, Toys R Us, Walmart, Sam's Club, Costco and BJ's Wholesale Clubs and http://www.discoverpoingo.com/. I would recommend this product to anyone. My son has found his new favorite obsession and I enjoy watching him interact with Poingo. He likes to share and say "Your turn Mommy," which I gladly accept and join in on the fun.
Today is your lucky day. Poingo has offered up one Starter Kit (a $34.99 value) to one of our Mammalicious Readers.

My toddler would love the Cars book! His attention is quickly lost but he is starting to gain interest in books and this would be something fun other than hearing Mom and Dad read him a book.
I like the Elmo one best and the price is the greatest thing about it.

My 5yo has been asking for the Tag Reader since it came out but could never afford it. However, I like this one better. I also like the price the best.

I love this product! My favorite stories of the ones available right now would be Cars and Winnie the Pooh. These would be just right for my 2 nephews. I like that it allows the children to "read" the stories themselves, it lets them intereact with the book and it helps their motor skills by holding the Poingo pen and needing to push it on certain areas. I believe it is a great idea!

My girls would love the book selection. I think they would most enjoy Sleeping Beauty. She is a favorite Princess in our house. The Poingo looks like a great gadget to inspire more reading. Which is a good thing.
I would love to read Cars, Nemo or either of the Princess books with my two cuties. I love the use of cross-curricular materials to get the kids excited about reading and learning!

What a neat new invention! I know my boys would love all the books, but The Lion King has been a favorite movie lately, so I think that would be their top choice. My 1st grader is beginning to learn to read, and I think this product would be a great tool to help him become successful! Thanks for the give-away opportunity!
My daughter is a HUGE Disney Cars fan so I would love to get that one for her!

I love that Poingo is so comparatively inexpensive! My daughter would love Sleeping Beauty!
My son would LOVE the Cars book and he would also enjoy the Nemo book. I would enjoy reading either one to him. The thing I like best is that it allows my son to further participate in the reading by using the "Poingo".

I think my little guy would like the Cars book the best. With some practice, I can see how this product would be great for teaching kids how to read as they follow along with the story, similar to what I used to do with the Disney records and books when I was a kid.

I think my kids would love Pooh! These look great and would let them have fun with a book while I'm cooking! Always, when they want to read!

Thanks again!
I'd get either the Nemo or Cars. And the best part about this system? The fact that you don't have to read the same book over and over again to your child. They can do it themselves...as much as they want! Thanks!
I'm also a subscriber, thanks!
Well ..since you asked which book 'you' would like to read.. I would pick sleeping beauty.. but I don't think my son would go for that! So I'll have to pick Lion King! :)
I have to pick Nemo, because that is my favorite movie. I like the fact that it looks like it would entertain long enough for me to get a few things done.

My princess would enjoy Cinderella. I love that she could actually learn on her own. What a great idea! I'm a firm believer that you can't start them reading too early. Thanks for the chance to win!
I subscribed. :)
I love that it encourages interaction and makes reading fun for the child. It will definitely hold my boys attention. The Cars would be their favorite!
Thank you for the giveaway! This looks like a great product and I would love to try it!
My little guy would LOVE the Cars book. This product seems as though it'd be great for preschoolers...at least mine. Every night when we sit down to read books he wants SO badly to be able to "read" it to me. He'll hold it and tell me, "Okay, mom - I'm going to read it to you and you can talk" (meaning I read the words). :)
Great giveaway!
My boys would enjoy Cars and Nemo! Thanks!
I like the Winnie the Pooh book. This is a great toy to get kids interested in reading.
I love anything that encourages kids to read! My fav story would probably be Lion King!

My boys would love the Cars book! I like that it encourages reading, but makes books a little more exciting.
I actually saw this at costco and my 3 year old son loved it! His favorite movies are Nemo and Cars. The starter kit would be awesome!
This is my first time entering to win anything, so I hope I did it right!
Well, considering how quickly kids go through toys (and learn beyond certain levels), anything affordable like this gets my vote!
I would choose the Cinderella book - my daughter's current fav. Thanks!

My daughter is a big Winnie the Pooh fan, so I think Pooh's Wishful Thinking would be the book we would start with. The best feature of Poingo is that it would hold a child's attention and make them feel like they're interacting with the story more than a normal book.
Thanks!
