I received a lovely keepsake journal from Sand Dune Books

for a review. The journal contains simple questions for you to fill out, when the journal is completed you pass it along to a friend, sibling, parent, child, etc. This provides the recipient a look into your life, thoughts, feelings, and memories.

There are several journals to choose from:
Mother-Father Son-Daughter
Grandma-Grandpa Honey
Sister-Brother Reunion
Girl (friends)
I think this is such a neat idea. I love to scrapbook and I spend tedious hours setting up the pages, but I don't include a lot of text, I like the focus to be on the pictures. Between Me and You journals are an alternative method that I can use for sharing special memories. A few of the questions in the Mom journal are:

"What are your memories of being a teenager?"

"How long did you go out with Dad?"
"What are your memories of the day I was born?"

"What were some of your favorite things to do as a child?"

Interesting questions, that will take some thinking time, but what a wonderful keepsake to give my son when he's older. Everyone tells you that time flies and before you know it your child will be 18 and you'll look back thinking what happened to your time together. My son is only two but I look back and some stages I can't even remember! I'm going to start writing in my journal NOW while I can still remember all those special milestones.
